What does the Bible say about Lust?

Job 31:1 (NKJV) “I have made a covenant with my eyes; Why then should I look upon a young woman?

Matthew 5:27–28 (NKJV) “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Romans 6:12 (NKJV) Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

Romans 8:5–8 (NKJV) For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Romans 8:12 (NKJV) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
