Ed Taylor is the pastor of Calvary Church in Aurora, Colorado, where he, along with his family, has had the privilege of serving and loving people since December 1999. Growing up in Southern California and living a life of rebellious sin, Ed was born again and discipled through the ministry of Calvary Chapel Downey.

Ed and his wife Marie have been married since 1989 and have three children, of which their eldest son Eddie went to be with the Lord in 2013. Ed and Marie also have a precious grandson, Eddie’s son, Levi.

Ed’s heart is to be transparent from the pulpit as he deeply desires everyone from all walks of life to embrace Jesus and grow in His grace. He faithfully teaches the Word of God, verse by verse, pointing all to Jesus, the perfector of our faith and the answer to every one of our issues. Pastor Ed’s hope is that his words are used to disciple and encourage those in the faith. “the best is yet to come…”

Ed is the author of several books such as “Free From Your Past,” “God’s Help for the Troubled Heart,” “Ordinary Servant,” “Sure & Steady,” and others. He is also the host of the Lead2Serve Podcast, Calvary LIVE, and the Bible Teacher of Abounding Grace, a national radio broadcast.
