“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matt 11:28 (NKJV)

You that are weary with the rounds of worldly pleasure, stuffed and nauseated with vain glories and delusions of life, come and find true joy. You that are worn with ambition, corroded with disappointment, or embittered by the faithlessness of those you trusted, come and confide in Jesus. He will be your rest.

Weary, weary, weary ones, here is the rest, here is the refreshment. Jesus expressly puts it, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matt. 11:28–30).

If your back is breaking, if your eyes are failing through weary watching and waiting, come to the Savior just as you are. He will be your rest.
