A common question in any crisis is this “is the end of the world approaching”? The answer to that is yes. We are closer to the end of the world than ever before! The Bible gives us insights on what to expect toward the end of the World.
1. An Increase in False Teachings and False Teachers.
1 Timothy 4:1 (NKJV) “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,”
2 Peter 1:2 (NKJV) “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,”
2. An Increase in Unprecedented Global Distresses
Daniel 12:1 (NKJV) ““At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people;And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book.”
Zephaniah 1:14–15 (NKJV) “The great day of the Lord is near; It is near and hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the Lord is bitter; There the mighty men shall cry out. That day is a day of wrath, A day of trouble and distress, A day of devastation and desolation, A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness,”
3. An Increase in People turning their backs on God.
2 Peter 3:3–4 (NKJV) “knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.””
4. More and more believers will live with a heightened expectation of Jesus soon return.
Titus 2:13 (NKJV) “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,”
5. The Rapture of the Church will happen suddenly.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 (NKJV) “Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
6. The Great Tribulation will begin.

7. The 2nd Coming of Jesus happens.
Zechariah 14:4 (NKJV) “And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.”
