What does the Bible say about Confidence?

Joshua 1:9 (NKJV) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.””

Proverbs 3:25–26 (NKJV) Do not be afraid of sudden terror, Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; For the Lordwill be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being caught.”

Isaiah 32:17 (NKJV) The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.”

Jeremiah 17:7 (NKJV) “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.”

Acts 28:30–31 (NKJV) Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him.”
